Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Independent Agent to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our products and services, while providing exceptional customer service. As an Independent Agent, you will have the flexibility to work independently while leveraging your skills in sales, negotiation, and communication to achieve success in a competitive market. This is not a typical role as an insurance agent. This role will manage existing clients, while working as a key partner to expand new business growth. As an Independent agent, you have access to the tools and carriers you need to sell more business. This role will start as part time, with the opportunity to move into a full time role. We work remotely, so no office work is required. Responsibilities * Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. * Generate leads and promote products effectively. * Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for growth and expansion of services. * Manage sales administration tasks, including tracking leads, maintaining records, and reporting on sales performance. * Engage in outside sales activities to reach potential customers in various environments, including retail settings. * Communicate product benefits clearly and persuasively to clients, ensuring they are well-informed about offerings. * Work within the community to build the brand and establish new referral sources. Requirements * Proven experience in sales or a related field is preferred. * Strong skills in benefits administration and the ability to analyze market data effectively. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers positively. * Ability to negotiate effectively and close deals successfully. * Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve results independently. * A valid driver's license may be required for outside sales activities. * Must be licensed within Indiana.
