Applicants must be willing to get or have an active Health Insurance license in order to be considered. Your goal will be to match customers with an insurance plan that fits their needs and budget. This is a sales position, but you will also educate and solve problems. Previous experience with customer service is a must. Compensation: This position is a W2 Wage earning position paid on an hourly basis and commissions. This is for long term employment. Responsibilities: * Assess and identify insurance needs of customers. * Effectively educate health insurance plans and products to customers. * Provide excellent customer service, as the face of our business. * Quickly grasp new concepts and product offerings, such as Major Medical, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Prescription Drug Plans, and other ancillary health products * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to present and promote concepts to others * Build relationships * Patience and have a servants heart. Requirements/Skills: * Active, valid health insurance agent license in good standing for Idaho * Medicare knowledge is preferred but not required. * Maintain call productivity and metrics per goals set. * Learn and maintain the required product expertise as well as demonstrate thorough knowledge of products and ensure clear, concise and accurate communication of product information with target audiences. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Extremely coachable and always striving to improve. * Ability to work a flexible schedule; Mandatory OT during Annual Enrollment Period (Oct 15 through Dec 7) * Must safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality by following the guidelines set forth in the Privacy and Security Rules of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) * Computer proficiency, With Apple including MS Office, with a focus toward multi-tasking. * Business dress code: Conservative tops, pants or skirts. * Do what is needed clause - If you see something that needs to be done, take the initiative.
