Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our beach store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. * Provide product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits effectively. * Communicate product knowledge clearly to customers to facilitate informed purchasing decisions. * Handle cash register transactions accurately. * Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels to ensure product availability. * Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. * Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring all displays are visually appealing. * Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or directing calls as necessary. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall store performance. * Receive wetsuits to inspect for repair and give estimate for repair cost. * Schedule wetsuit repair on calendar for pickup. * Handle customer wetsuit pickups with cash and electronic payments. Qualifications * Must be able to work some Saturdays. * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. * A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn new skills related to sales techniques and product knowledge. * Basic understanding of inventory management practices is advantageous.
