OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE - INDUSTRIAL MRO PRODUCTS AND SERVICES Hubbard Supply Co. is looking for a self-motivated Outside Sales Representative to promote and sell Industrial Supplies in the Western Michigan market. We are looking for an individual who has a proven track record when it comes to maintaining and developing customers. Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills are a must. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong sales skills, the aptitude to learn and apply new knowledge, and a sincere interest in a career. The compensation structure will be aligned with the individual's educational background and/or professional experience. It will encompass a Salary, Bonus, and Commission. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Develop and maintain day to day distributor partner relationships with particular emphasis on sales, business planning, product operations and analysis. * Develop account goals, strategies and tactics to deliver revenue growth targets * Preparation of required reports (sales forecasting, call reports, expense reports and detailed project reports). * Proven ability to learn our business and to work independently to achieve goals. * Responsible for specific customer in-plant vendor managed inventory * Responsible for specific customer in-plant industrial vending replenishment of inventory SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS * Effective time management, organization and multi-tasking skills. * Able to prospect new customers. * Strong communication skills in writing and verbal. * Negotiation skills along with ability to sell and be persuasive. * Professional appearance and demeanor and an acceptable driving record. * Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS * A bachelor's degree is preferred but will consider commensurate experience. The ideal candidate will have two to four years' industry specific experience.
