Job Title: Retail Sales Representative Location: Fairfax, VA & Sterling, VA Job Type: Full-Time About Us: Fairfax Marble & Granite is a leading importer, fabricator, and installer of high-quality natural and engineered stone, serving Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. for over 23 years. We specialize in kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities, bar tops, fireplaces, stone furnishings, and flooring for both residential and commercial projects. Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Sales Representative with a background in home improvement sales, preferably in granite, marble, Quartz products. In this role, you will work directly with homeowners, contractors, designers, and builders to provide expert guidance on selecting the perfect stone for their projects. Key Responsibilities: * Greet and assist customers in our showroom, providing knowledgeable guidance on stone selections. * Educate clients on different stone materials, colors, patterns, and finishes. * Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, contractors, and designers. * Provide detailed quotes, pricing, and project estimates. * Manage the sales process from initial inquiry to final purchase , ensuring customer satisfaction. * Collaborate with fabrication and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution. * Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay updated on industry trends. * Handle customer inquiries, follow up on leads, and drive sales growth. Qualifications: 2+ years of sales experience in home improvement, construction, or a related field. Experience in granite, marble, quartz, or stone sales is highly preferred. -Strong interpersonal and communication skills. -Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. -Proficiency in CRM software and basic computer skills. -Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities. -Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once. -Bilingual skills (Spanish, or other languages) are a plus.
