Charity Event Staff (In-Store Fundraising Team) Location: East Los Angeles, CA Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Department: Community Events & Fundraising Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? This is a meaningful, fast-paced opportunity to help raise awareness and support for charitable initiatives, all while building valuable experience and having fun. As a member of the Charity Event Staff, you'll be representing trusted nonprofit organizations at various high-traffic venues -- from local malls to pop-up events -- engaging with the public and inspiring donations for causes that matter. What You'll Be Doing: * Connect with the Community: Represent leading charities at in-store events, shopping centers, and community spaces. Share stories, start conversations, and build lasting impressions. * Raise Awareness: Provide information about important causes and ongoing charity campaigns in a compelling and approachable way. * Fundraise with Purpose: Encourage sign-ups and donations that directly support humanitarian, environmental, or community-based missions. * Support Event Setup: Help organize and manage event logistics, ensuring each setup is inviting, informative, and impactful. * Create a Positive Experience: Be a friendly, passionate ambassador for the charity you're representing, making every interaction count. Note: This role is focused on fundraising and public engagement.
