Full description of the position

Are you a Sales Manager that's been in roofing for a long time? Looking for your next career move? The Roofing Sales Trainer's purpose is to oversee the overall growth of the business by providing consistent training for the sales team by: 1. Assist in the development and deployment of new hire training for new Project Managers and other key roles within the organization (classroom & field) 2. Focus on the development of new leaders using training and coaching, as necessary 3. Create and update training courses/content for Learning Management System (LMS) 4. Assign courses within the LMS as needed, to ensure consistent continuing education 5. Work directly with Project Managers & Sales Manager to improve/train on deficiencies within a reasonable timeframe when recognized 6. Assist in the development of both classroom and field training techniques 7. Follow up with employees during their first months to determine where assistance is needed 8. Discuss gaps in skills with employees to determine solutions to deficient behaviors and determine specific outcomes to close identified gaps 9. Work with company management to create a calendar of training events 10. Work with supervisory staff to identify and prioritize training needs 11. Prepare session materials and plan ahead of time to take advantage of inclement weather days 12. Report training progress to management daily/weekly This role requires the following knowledge and skills: Clear understanding/experience within the insurance restoration industry and in home selling techniques. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Dependability - Must be reliable and able to work both independently and in a group setting Proficient with technology, specifically Apple based products.
