Job Description : We are a locally-owned and operated mattress store seeking a motivated and reliable Sales and Delivery Associate to join our team. We have been voted Best Mattress Store in Reno year after year by the Reno Gazette Journal Community Choice Awards. This individual will play a key role in helping our customers find the perfect mattress while also assisting with product deliveries. The ideal candidate should have a strong customer service mindset, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and be comfortable with both sales and physical delivery tasks. Responsibilities : * Sales : * Assist customers in selecting the right mattress based on their needs and preferences. * Provide product information and recommendations in a friendly, approachable manner. * Demonstrate mattress and furniture features and benefits. * Process sales transactions and handle customer inquiries. * Maintain an organized and clean sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed and stocked. * Help achieve sales goals and contribute to store targets. * Deliveries : * Safely transport mattresses and accessories to customers' homes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. * Load and unload products from the delivery truck, ensuring proper handling and protection during transport. * Provide exceptional customer service during delivery, including setup and removal of old mattresses when necessary. * Perform basic installation of adjustable bed frames or other products as needed. * Maintain a clean driving record and follow all local traffic laws. Qualifications : * High school diploma or equivalent. * Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) a plus! * Previous higher ticket sales experience is preferred, but not required; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key. * Comfortable with physical labor (lifting, moving mattresses, furniture etc.). * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. * Strong communication and customer service skills with a professional appearance. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Must be able to work flexible hours, including Saturdays. We are closed Sunday. Physical Requirements : * Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 100 lbs). * Must be able to drive a delivery vehicle and assist with loading/unloading deliveries.
