Job Description We are seeking a dynamic Catering Sales Representative to build our catering business. In this hybrid role, you'll be based out of our Sierra Madre cafe for tastings and client meetings, and you'll travel throughout Los Angeles, Riverside, and Orange counties to meet prospective customers. You will use your passion for gourmet food to identify new accounts (corporate events, weddings, parties, etc.), present our menu offerings in person, and secure catering contracts. As a 100% commission-based position, this role rewards self-motivated achievers: your success depends on your ability to network, follow up with leads, and close sales. You'll collaborate closely with our kitchen and events staff to ensure seamless execution for every event. This position offers uncapped earning potential and the chance to represent a unique, foodie-focused brand. Responsibilities * Prospect and cultivate new catering accounts (e.g. businesses, event planners, community groups) through networking, cold calling, and referrals. * Host in-person tastings and presentations at our Sierra Madre cafe and client locations to showcase our crepe, charcuterie, fruit, salad, and sandwich menus. * Prepare customized proposals and quotes, negotiate pricing, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets. * Coordinate with kitchen and event staff to ensure accurate order details and smooth delivery of catering events. * Maintain detailed CRM records and follow up with clients to drive repeat business and referrals. * Represent the company at local trade shows and community events to build relationships and increase brand visibility. Qualifications * Experience: 2+ years of sales experience in catering, hospitality, or food service (5+ years preferred), with a strong track record of meeting sales goals. * Passion for Food: Genuine enthusiasm for gourmet food and catering; ability to speak knowledgeably about menu items. * Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; professional demeanor and strong relationship-building abilities. * Self-Motivated: Goal-driven, independent, and comfortable working on commission; able to manage your own schedule and territory. * Logistics: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits; willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends for tastings or events. Compensation * 100% Commission-Only (no base salary): You'll earn a percentage of every catering sale you generate. 5-8% on each event. * Uncapped Earnings Potential: There is no limit to what you can earn - top catering sales reps frequently exceed six-figure incomes.
