As an Insurance Agent, you'll not only help people protect what matters but also be a key player in community outreach and [please apply online] $66,000 at plan commission Responsibilities: * Develop and manage a book of business by offering tailored insurance solutions * Build relationships with local organizations (schools, farm organizations, chambers of commerce) to identify partnership opportunities * Oversee daily operations including marketing, sales, and customer service initiatives * Educate clients on coverage options, ensuring policies align with their needs * Prospect new clients through networking, referrals, and community outreach * Willingness to create lasting relationships within your local community Qualifications: * Some knowledge of farming or agricultural background * Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and drive * 5+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or business development; insurance experience is an advantage * Passionate about giving back to the community and making a positive impact * Active insurance license (or willingness to obtain) * Must be a good communicator and be able to explain solutions to the customer * High School diploma a must: a college degree is a bonus or related work experience * Ability to review and solve situational tasks * Willingness to complete tasks without having to be micro-managed * Ability to make decisions at the moment * Willingness to learn and grow as the business changes About Company On May 1, 1947, a group of Idaho farmers and ranchers founded an insurance company.
