Location: Hotel Arista Department: Sales & Marketing Reports to: Director of Sales and Marketing Status: Hourly Non-Exempt Compensation Range: $22.00-25.00/hour, commensurate with experience and education. Role Summary: CityGate Hospitality is looking for a qualified Sales coordinator to join our Sales team. This person will primarily be responsible for supporting the sales team in assisting with a variety of administrative tasks as well as the coordination of events for internal and external groups. Responsibilities: * Continually upholds the 4-star standards of Hotel Arista. * Produces and distributes correspondence and communication to team members including Delphi reports (ten-day event reports, daily event postings, & change logs), menu cards, labels, contracts, internal forms, and informational emails. * Assist in administrative tasks to include beo packet assembly and distribution, resume packet assembly and distribution, lead response, diagram distribution, answering phones, etc. * Lead catcher and distributor. * Research and generate lists of potential customers through Knowland. * Create event menu cards and other templates as needed. * Assists team members in planning internal meetings and events. * Assists with special projects as needed. * Assists sales managers with on-site event management and execution of events. * Assists team with reviewing arrival report and determining anticipated VIPs. * Assists team with inputting amenities and coordinating custom amenities. * Assists with site tours when associated manager is unavailable. * Promotes teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments. * Receives and organizes donation requests for approval through leadership. * Interacts with outside contacts: * Guests - to ensure their total satisfaction * Vendors - to arrange services * Other contacts as needed (Professional organizations, community groups) * This job description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all job functions that an employee in this position may be asked to perform. Minimum Qualifications: Education: * Hospitality or Sales focused major preferred. Experience: * Prior experience not required. Skills: * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. * Strong organization, multi-tasking, prioritizing and teamwork skills. * Detail oriented. * Experience with Word, and Excel preferred. * Polished personal presentation with warm, confident and hospitable personality. * Demonstrated ability to interact with guests, associates and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company. * Excellent clerical skills. * Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. Physical Requirements: * Must be able to walk and stand for up to 8 hours a day, with or without reasonable accommodation. * Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs on occasion.
