Full description of the position

Your Role & Responsibilities Job Summary: The Business Development Specialist has North American responsibility for executing the marketing strategy of either Brenntag Nutrition or our Key Supplier Partners. The role is an essential function that communicates our partners key products or Nutrition North America's brand through the website, social media, e-mail communications, SEO, tradeshows, and literature. Job Description: Key Principal Relationship Management * Works alongside the BDM Director, BDMs, BNA Marketing and the IMMs to develop key Principal marketing strategies & builds relationships with marketing counterparts at key Principals * Assists in monitoring performance against mutually established commercial and organizational targets * Participates in principal meetings as necessary * Follows up on requirements, milestones, and expectations * Works closely with Industry Market Manager to identify, support, and expand the strategies of each principal to optimize functional ingredients growth * Attends internal and external training sessions as necessary for continued development of product and industry knowledge Integrated Marketing (Develop content for all of the below), in conjunction with the BDM Director: * Assist with Press Releases, coordinate with BNA marketing on approval and release * Ensure the Nutrition content calendar for the year is followed, Including: Pardot's, social posts, advertisements, tradeshows, webinars, etc. * Collaborate with IMMs and Global Nutrition's initiatives * Develops and executes email communication strategy to support marketing strategies * Create, execute, and report on successful Pardot campaigns * Optimize customer nurturing process * Automation campaigns- decision making process, narrowing down potential customer's interest. Provide necessary content for focused segment, product or product line. * Ensures lead follow up with Food Industry Managers through Sales Support Specialists * Reviews and distributes e-comm campaign metrics (push process) * Expands social media presence by coordinating content across platforms * Responsible for social media content scheduling (indirect) * Coordinate with the Americas social media specialist to promote content, that is reviewed & approved. * Leader of tradeshow planning, promotion, and branding strategy National Tradeshows * Create timeline and coordinate within departments * Understand what suppliers are presenting and if possible, to coordinate and/or spread their message * Create demo cards and formulation sheets to support featured demo * Assist with lead recorder and post show report * Regional tradeshows * Coordinate with tradeshow manager and Food & Nutrition team members attending * Ensure Brenntag Food & Nutrition branded literature and suppliers' literature is present * Coordinate with the application centers to create demos for necessary shows * Create demo card/info sheet to support feature demo * Ensure key suppliers have updated list of shows * Advertising * Create content for Nutrition print and digital advertising and collaborate with Brenntag Americas brand marketing specialist on landing pages and forms. * Focus on increasing Brenntag Food & Nutrition brand awareness and capabilities and incorporating key suppliers' product/product lines from IMMs Google Ad Campaigns * Assist digital marketing specialist with key words for focused campaign (topic, product/product line) * Collaborate with digital marketing specialist on wording in Google ads, landing pages, and engagement studios Targeted LinkedIn Ads * Develop topics for targeted LinkedIn ad campaigns and provide content, target lists/group in collaboration with social media specialist to launch. Food & Nutrition Webinars * Manage timeline of webinar promotion with Food & Nutrition team member(s) presenting and/or key supplier included. * Collaborate with marketing team to ensure Zoom webinar account available, schedule webinar, and practice sessions. * External communication plan with webinar's description and key takeaways (e-comms, social, targeted LinkedIn ads, print/digital ads) * Review and edit webinar slides with team to have ready for practice sessions Include polls, questions, etc. * Post webinars analyze performance, engagement, and discuss ways to improve Literature * Create marketing and sales enablement collateral and develop new ideas for content such as one-pager, brochures, demo concept sheets, etc. * Business Development Support * Provides marketing support to BDM, IMM and Technical teams * Collaborates with team to create marketing collateral, videos, and content * SharePoint * Posts various supporting documentation for ease of access and usage Salesforce CRM * Post on Food & Nutrition' chatter with necessary updates * Application and Innovation Centers * Create marketing collateral to support featured demo concept, work closely with IMM team on focused products * Provide market segment trends to support demo * Support photoshoots and videos in Application Centers * Collaborate with food scientists on video scripts, storyboards, and pre-filming application prep. * Ensure content is approved by legal. * Coordinate with Marketing team on budget and vendor. BNA Website / Food & Nutrition Website * Contribute topics to WebFx's written content. Assist with the development of FN website. * General * Ensures compliance with all company policies and all regulatory agencies, including but not limited to: Brenntag Code of Business Conduct & Ethics, Antitrust Compliance Policy, Confidentiality Agreement, DOL, EEOC etc. * Supports the vision and mission of the company, while living the company values. Your Profile Education and Experience: * Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or commensurate of education and experience. * Previous work experience (2+ years) in specialty chemical (distribution) - e.g., distributor, manufacturer. * Sound computer skills in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Pardot, Airtable. * Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills. * Strong in relationship building, both internal and external to the company.
