Elysium Tile is looking for a Business Development Manager to improve our brand recognition and grow our sales and market share with a large national client. This is an exciting opportunity to create action plans and sales strategies that will help us reach our growth initiatives -- including new customer acquisition and client optimization. This position is based out of our Palmetto, Florida location and requires overnight travel. Duties and Responsibilities; * Identify and research potential clients * Strengthen current client relationships while establishing new relationships * Coordinate with sales teams to develop mutually beneficial proposals * Gather useful information from customer and competitor data * Make and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executives * Create and implement processes and policies to support the overall business * Track, identify and add qualified prospects to sales pipeline * Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business * Attend trade shows and conferences as needed * Conduct ongoing market research * Drive the end-to-end sales process * Perform other duties as assigned by management Skills and qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales or Marketing * 3 or more years sales experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales, preferably in the materials industry * Impeccable verbal and written communication skills * Excellent organizational skills to meet goals and set priorities * Familiarity with the industry including equipment, logistics and supply-chain management * Problem-solving skills to propose mutually beneficial solutions * Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software * Ability and willingness to travel for meetings with prospective and existing clients * Maintain a valid state driver's license Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee discount * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Schedule: * 8 hour shift Supplemental Pay: * Bonus opportunities Ability to Commute: * Palmetto, FL 34221 (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: * Palmetto, FL 34221: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Willingness to travel: * 25% (Preferred) Work Location: In person
