Overview We are seeking a Jewelry Associate to become an integral part of our team! We are a small but busy custom jewelry and repair store looking for an all around assistant to help with a variety of duties. Position is full time Tuesday through Saturday. Responsibilities: * Welcome and identify customer needs * Explain products and services to customers * Check jewelry repairs upon arrival and after completion * Maintain spreadsheet with customer jobs * Utilize Quickbooks to enter invoices, inventory, and supplies * Strong customer service skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. * Familiarity with cash handling procedures and proficiency in using cash registers. * Basic math skills necessary for performing retail calculations accurately. * Filing both numerically and alphabetically * Maintain Facebook and Instagram posts * Cleaning and decorating * Setting up and taking out display cases * Other various duties to assist owners Qualifications: * Previous experience in the jewelry industry is a plus * Ability to prioritize and multitask * Strong attention to detail * Strong organizational skills * Ability to sort and file numerically and alphabetically * Ability to build rapport with customers * Excellent verbal communication skills * Strong negotiation skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * Dental insurance * Employee discount * Health insurance * Paid time off Shift: * Day shift Ability to Commute: * Sparks, NV 89434 (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Sparks, NV 89434: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
