Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic Optical Sales Associate to join our team. Responsibilities * Welcome and assist customers with frame selection, lens choices, and overall eyewear needs. * Provide knowledgeable recommendations on frame styles, lens types, and product features based on customer preferences. * Accurately process transactions using the point-of-sale system. * Maintain a clean, organized, and appealing store environment. * Stock and organize eyewear displays, ensuring all products are properly labeled. * Conduct basic vision tests and assist with fittings, adjustments, and minor repairs. * Upsell additional products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales. * Manage inventory by performing routine stock checks and ensuring optimal product availability. * Communicate effectively with customers and team members to facilitate a smooth, positive shopping experience. Qualifications * Previous retail sales experience, ideally in an optical or fashion-focused setting. * Familiarity with eyewear and optical products is strongly preferred. * Proficient in operating cash registers and POS systems. * Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service focus. * Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Basic math skills for transaction handling and inventory management. * Experience with upselling techniques is a plus. * Willingness to learn and stay informed about the latest eyewear trends and optical technology.
