Assistant Account Manager Job Description Job Overview At Beacon Hill Hospitality, we look for people who want to help others not because it's their job, but because it's their nature. At St. Anne's healthcare facility, the Assistant Account Manager is responsible for providing kind and empathetic service to all patients and visitors, providing technical support to all BHH departments, and ensuring smooth daily operations through their scheduling and people-management abilities. The specific job duties may be changed or added to by Beacon Hill Hospitality at any time based on the needs of the organization. *As an Assistant AM, you coordinate the operations of the location while working alongside team members to ensure the patients, visitors and employees of the hospital are well cared for. You are the site-leader, reporting into your assigned Area Manager regarding all operational objectives & expectations. * Ensure all employees are present and at their scheduled post * Ensure Beacon Hill's service standards are exceeded by all employees * Creates a culture of safety and inclusivity * Handles any escalated customer service issues or claims with sensitivity and compassion * Fosters a spirit of teamwork and unity that enables each team member and the team as a whole to succeed. * Manages team schedules and rotations. Must be willing to cover shifts, or find coverage when unexpected changes occur. * Daily interactions with key stakeholders to support client relationship and value of BHH's service * Independently manage team schedule, ensuring no operational disruptions in cases of time off, call offs, holidays, and so on. * Review, audit, and correct timecards on a daily basis - no missing punches, review punch change requests, address any cases of system alerts related to geofencing issues or time theft. * Approve team payroll on the provided schedule, ensuring complete accuracy. * Responsible for training & development of staff from day one. Collaborate with HR to ensure all onboarding standards are met for new hires, and any areas of improvement with existing staff are addressed & documented. * Participate in the recruitment & hiring process. * Technical support to all BHH functions at your facility; * Performs valet services of parking, retrieving, and delivering customer vehicle * Moves quickly and safely to get to customer's vehicle, drives it slowly and carefully * Follows all standard operating procedures and safety policies * Provides "front door assistance" to customers entering and exiting the establishment by offering information, direction, and assistance. * Complete all required reports in a timely manner and provide them to the Account Manager and/or Senior Leadership as requested. * Follows site specific safety and security procedures * Follows all appearance standards, including uniform * Greets and welcomes customers, facilitating their access to and use of the establishment. * Handles cash, valet tickets, keys, and equipment in accordance with company policies. * Performs concierge duties as needed. Hails taxicabs and stands at the front door or designated area in order to provide assistance. * Ensures a clean working area by keeping the area neat and free of debris. Minimum Job Qualifications * Must have and maintain a valid drivers license and clean driving record * Ability to drive a manual transmission * Experience in valet or parking operations experience preferred but not required * 1+ year of experience in team leaderships * 3+ years in customer service roles - maintains a warm, friendly and professional demeanor when working with other employees, patients and visitors. * Ability to read, understand, and communicate effectively both verbally and on paper * Ability to Solve Problems, but knows when to ask for input and help. * At least one year related experience. * For insurance purposes, must be at least 19 years of age and be able to pass a criminal background and drug screen Physical Demands * Employees are regularly required to run, stand, walk and sit * Must be able to wear PPE (personal protective equipment) for the duration of their shift * Must be able to push patients in wheelchairs (100 - 350 pounds) * Must be able to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds Work Environment As it is an outdoor role, the employee may be subjected to the weather conditions of the time.
