Full description of the position

*Job Requirements * POSITION SUMMARY The Broker Sales Liaison is accountable for recruiting, on-boarding, training and growing external broker distribution partner relationships for Health First Health Plans (HFHP) products to meet or exceed sales projections. PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITES 1. Establishes and develops agency/broker relationships within the Health First service areas. 2. Develops and delivers agency/broker training and production results as they pertain to the appropriate lines of business. 3. Attends and adheres to corporate and industry training requirements to provide agencies/brokers accurate guidance on regulatory guidelines, product and policy related issues. 4. Supports the day-to-day operations of the sales department related to brokers and broker performance. 5. Prepares and delivers business production reports pertaining to the broker channel. 6. Acts as a liaison between HFHP Sales and external distribution partners to maximize broker productivity and business continuity between the lines of business. 7. Achieves department activity, close ratio, sales and retention objectives via the broker distribution channels. 8. Records broker contacts, profiles and activities in department CRM tools. Identifies productive and fast-growing agencies within the broker distribution channel and create ways to incentivize those agencies and brokers to sell our products. 9. Implements and works with broker financial services to administer FMO/GA and web-based agency partnerships. 10. Works with sales leadership to develop sales strategies and creation of business plans consistent with the strategic goals pertaining to the broker channel. 11. Expands the broker channel within the current areas and new territories by fostering new agency relationships, including web-based agencies. 12. Participates in sales and networking events as required within the service areas * Work Experience * MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. * Work Experience: Three (3) years' experience selling or managing the administration of health insurance products. * Licensure: o Health Insurance Sales licensure in the State of Florida within 90 days after start date and maintained. o Valid Driver's License and clean Motor Vehicle Report and maintained. * Certification: Complete and maintain all required certifications based on each line of business (e.g., AHIP, FFM, Continuing Education requirements). * Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: o Possess the ability to proactively drive results within cross-functional team settings. o Functional knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, at minimum with Word and Excel. o Clear verbal and written communication skills. o Ability to facilitate multiple departmental priorities in a fast-paced setting. o Ability to maintain confidentiality of organizational knowledge. o Excellent problem-solving skills. o General knowledge of insurance concepts. o Significant travel (local) within HFHP service area with occasional travel outside service area. PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS * Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or relevant field. * Work Experience: Active business relationships with producing agents and agencies within the HFHP sales territories. * Licensure: Health Insurance licensure in the State of Florida prior to start date and maintained. * Certification: o Bilingual certification through Health First approved language certification vendor. o Active regulatory certifications as required by line of business. * Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Proficiently speaks fluently in both English and Spanish languages.
