Full description of the position
Position Title: Inside Sales Representative Department: Sales Reports To: Sales Management Location: Southborough, MA Overview: BSC Supply is looking for a dynamic, results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team. If you're motivated by making meaningful connections, closing deals, and reviving customer relationships, we want to hear from you! This is an in-person position based at our Southborough, MA office. The individual will have exceptional phone etiquette, a strong understanding of sales principles, and the ability to make a high volume of calls on a daily basis. Essential Functions: * Closing New Customers : Ability to engage a perspective customer (lead) quickly and transition them through the various steps of the sales process. * Customer Retention: Initiate contact with customers who have not made a purchase in an extended period to understand their needs and concerns. * Sales Outreach: Conduct outbound calls with the goal of reactivating dormant accounts and upselling additional products or services. * Relationship Building: Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers through regular communication, addressing concerns, and providing solutions to meet their needs. * Product Knowledge: Stay informed about product features, benefits, and updates to effectively communicate and upsell to customers. * Sales Strategies: Implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed new customer and retention targets. * Phone Etiquette: Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette, active listening skills, and the ability to articulate product information persuasively. * Call Volume: Meet daily call quotas by making 60-80 calls a day, documenting interactions, and updating customer records in the CRM system. * Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team and other departments to share insights, coordinate efforts, and contribute to overall customer satisfaction and company success. Competencies: * Proven experience in inside sales or customer retention roles. * Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques. * Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. * Self-motivated and results-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction. * Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. * Location-based in Southborough, MA. Experience: * High School diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelors degree preferred * Knowledge of the Automotive or Healthcare industry a plus, but not required. * Computer experience (Microsoft Office, Internet and Sales CRM) a must.
