Full description of the position
Capstone IT is hiring a full-time Account Manager to join our team in Overland Park, KS. Reporting into our IT Staffing Division, this position is responsible for originating, developing and maintaining key client relationships throughout the sales process. Successful candidates will act as a Business Development Manager and perform the following functions: Job Function * Build effective relationships with key individuals throughout an organization to assist in a consultative sales approach. * Secure new business with prospects and existing clients in the Kansas City area and surrounding cities. * Drive the entire sales cycle, managing client questions/escalations, and pursuing opportunities to expand scope and services. * Communicate client objectives to our internal recruiting team to ensure quick and accurate delivery to our clients. * Maintain extensive knowledge of all Capstone IT products, services, and systems to successfully service and cultivate accounts. * Take initiative to enhance knowledge of the IT Staffing industry, in addition to maintaining an extensive knowledge of the Information Technology industry in general. * Proactively develop and maintain strategic account management plans for key relationships. * Keep customer information and sales leads up to date in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) online tool. * Build relationships with consultants on each assignment to monitor engagement, advocate for their success and develop deeper understanding of client. Experience * Minimum four years of prior and relevant Business Development / Sales experience, at least two years of Staffing experience highly preferred. * Will possess an ability to communicate with individuals at all levels in the Company and with business contacts outside the Company in an articulate, professional manner. * Must be able to handle difficult situations; make decisions, sometimes with incomplete information; and deliver unfavorable news in a professional, results-oriented manner. * The ideal candidate will possess a relevant bachelor's degree and have an excellent academic * and professional record. * Who We Are We are an Information Technology Consulting firm with two divisions: IT Solutions and IT Staffing.
