Overview The HVAC Counter/Inside Salesperson contributes to company growth and profitability by assisting customer accounts at our Clifton, NJ branch. They will be responsible for prospecting for new accounts and growing existing accounts by uncovering additional sales opportunities, as well as, providing excellent customer support to our existing accounts. Duties * Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. * Promote and sell our products, utilizing your knowledge of the market and technology sales to drive business development. * Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all transactions are completed in a timely manner. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings, industry trends, and competitive landscape to effectively negotiate sales. * Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in customer service and inside sales strategies. * Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism, striving to resolve issues promptly. * Utilize software systems for inventory management, order processing, and customer relationship management. * Assist with inventory management and stocking the shelves. Requirements * Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably in a technical or retail environment. * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. * Familiarity with business development practices and techniques for negotiating sales. * Understanding of technical products will be beneficial. * Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. * Proficiency in using software tools related to sales processes and customer management. * A positive attitude with a strong desire to succeed in a fast-paced environment. * Attention to detail. * Demonstrated success meeting sales goals and growing sales.
