About Wilshire Madison Wilshire Madison is an independent, locally owned adult use cannabis cultivator and retailer located in Brunswick, Maine. Qualifications * Strong communication skills * Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions * Experience in retail, sales, hospitality, or customer service roles required * Knowledge of cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods helpful but not required * High school diploma or equivalent * Must be 21 years of age or older * Able to successfully pass an extensive background check * Have or obtain an IIC from Maine office of Cannabis Policy Responsibilities * Assist customers in selecting cannabis products, provide information on strains, consumption methods, and dosage * Partner with management to ensure operational integrity and support store success * Greet and assist customers in a friendly manner * Generate sales through exceptional customer service and product knowledge * Use point-of-sale (POS) system and accurately handle cash transactions * Properly follow cash handling procedures, prepare daily cash deposits, and balance cash drawers * Fulfill online orders for with accuracy while following all state, METRC, and OCP guidelines * Assist with inventory functions and preparing products for sale (barcoding, labeling, METRC compliance) * Willingness to stay up-to-date on state regulations, METRC, and POS system * Ensure adherence to state and local laws, company policies, and procedures * Foster a positive and inclusive work environment * Maintains the cleanliness and organization of the store including managing products and inventory, sweeping, mopping, and dusting * Flexibility in scheduling, including weekends, evenings, and holidays with availability for shifts that include opening and closing the store Benefits * Pay: $18.00-$20.00/hour * Employee discount * Performance-based monthly bonuses Job Type: Full-time Location: In-person Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: * Employee discount Shift: * Day shift * Evening shift * Morning shift * Night shift Experience: * cannabis retail: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: * IIC (Preferred) Shift availability: * Day Shift (Required) * Night Shift (Required) Ability to Commute: * Brunswick, ME 04011 (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Brunswick, ME 04011: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
