Graniterra is a leading natural stone importer and fabricator servicing the St. Louis area and beyond for the past 28 years. Graniterra currently has an opening for an inside sales position at our 40, 000 sq. ft. stone gallery in the city of St. Louis. PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Primary emphasis is on developing new business and creating revenues for the company through: * Assisting homeowners, contractors, and repeat customers in the pricing and selection of stone and engineered quartz countertops. * Serving our retail customers via walk in visits and appointments at our showroom. * Developing your own source of prospects. * Maintaining a call back file to keep in touch with potential prospects. * Creating and following up on referrals from your own customer base. * Reaching out to remodeling contractors by phone to create sales opportunities. JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES: The position with the company will be an inside account manager. Your main responsibility will be to generate sales in the natural stone, and related products by cultivating, servicing, and signing prospects in the commercial, and residential construction segments of the industry. You will be developing estimates, proposals, designs, negotiating agreements, and managing projects in order to close sales for the company. This is a full time position, and you will be required to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, including Saturdays or as otherwise needed to service your clients. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE DESIRED: We are seeking individuals who hold themselves to the highest standards and have a strong desire for personal growth and professional success. You must be able to show a successful track record in sales, preferably in a related field. * 3 years experience in the Kitchen & Bath, interior design, or construction related fields. * Knowledge of construction methods and practices is a plus. * Proven sales track record. * Strong work ethic. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Professional demeanor both on the phone and in person. * An outgoing personality. * Familiar with ERP software , Excel spreadsheet use, and drafting computer experience is a plus. Compensation * This position is paid through a combination of salary and commission, with an anticipated range of $45,000 to as high as $90,000 annually, depending on experience, eagerness, efficiency of work and other sales skills of candidate.
