Earning potential $45,000 to $85,000+ Guaranteed draw per pay-period Summary Our successful Sales Design Consultants are energetic, motivated, and creative. This role is the face of Scan Design and the bridge between the client and the company. The Sales Design Consultant serves clients one on one, builds relationships, and creates beautiful projects, while providing excellent customer service at every step. This is a full-time commissioned position with a guaranteed draw. The schedule is a 5 day workweek. Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays. General Responsibilities: * Create and assist clients with design projects * Select components from our collections to create a unique and purposeful space for each client * Formulate solutions to satisfy client's needs * Prepare sketches using Floor Planner software for client presentation * Conduct client home visits to measure spaces, introduce options, and maximize project * Manage the sales order process from start to finish * Create and maintain positive and professional client, vendor, and coworker relationships both inside and outside the store * Maintain a professional appearance that is fitting of the environment in which we work Requirements: * Previous experience in interior design or other related fields * Proven sales experience * Familiarity with design software preferred but not required * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * High school diploma required; college degree preferred * Valid driver's license Other Information: The statements contained herein reflect general details as necessary to describe the principal functions of this job, the level of knowledge and skill typically required, but should not be considered an all-inclusive listing.
