Job Summary We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through their vehicle service needs and ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish. Your expertise in automotive maintenance and repair will be essential in providing accurate information and recommendations to our clients. Responsibilities * Greet customers promptly and professionally * Listen to customer concerns and accurately document them * Write service orders and communicate with service technicians * Order parts and ensure timely delivery of necessary parts * Provide estimates for automotive repairs and tire services * Provide detailed explanations of services required * Utilize mechanical knowledge to assist customers with inquiries related to automotive repairs * Process cash handling and card transactions accurately while ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service experience. * Maintain clear communication with technicians regarding customer concerns and service requirements. * Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any additional questions or concerns. * Keep accurate records of customer interactions, service orders, and vehicle maintenance history. Requirements * Proven experience in automotive service writing. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand vehicle systems and maintenance needs. * Proficient in using computer software for auto estimating and service writing * Familiarity with oil change procedures, shocks and struts replacement, engine repair, vehicle alignment, ect is highly desirable. * Excellent communication skills * Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly. * MUST have problem-solving skills, being able to solve a problem on your own is a must. * MUST be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
