The Horse Shoe Farm is a premier boutique resort nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, offering upscale accommodations, wellness experiences, and event and retreat hosting. Our mission is to provide guests with unforgettable, restorative experiences rooted in nature, hospitality, and community. Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Manager to lead our sales initiatives and grow revenue streams across lodging, events, retreats, and corporate bookings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in outside sales and business development, a passion for hospitality, and a proven track record of exceeding sales goals. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing strategic sales plans, managing key accounts, and fostering relationships with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and implement strategic sales plans to attract clients for weddings, retreats, corporate events, and luxury getaways. * Cultivate relationships with travel agents, event planners, corporate clients, and wellness organizations. * Identify new business opportunities through market research and networking. * Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients to maximize revenue. * Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and addressing concerns promptly. * Represent the farm at trade shows, networking events, and through digital outreach to promote brand visibility. * Collaborate with marketing to create promotional materials and campaigns aligned with sales goals. * Maintain a pipeline of leads and manage the full sales cycle--from inquiry to contract closure. * Monitor market trends, competitors, and pricing strategies to optimize offerings and packages. * Work closely with operations and hospitality teams to ensure seamless execution of client experiences. Qualifications: * 3+ years in a sales management role, preferably in hospitality, resorts, or event venues. * Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills. * Experience with CRM systems and sales tracking tools. * Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment. * Flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends for site visits and events.
