Catering Coordinator Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Catering Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of catering events, ensuring that each occasion runs smoothly and meets the highest standards of service. This role requires a strong background in food management and event coordination, with a focus on customer satisfaction and efficient operations. Responsibilities * Coordinate and manage catering events from inception to completion, including menu planning, logistics, and staffing. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food items. * Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing exceptional customer service throughout the planning process. * Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and improve future catering services. Experience * Previous experience in restaurant management or catering coordination is preferred. * Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling. * Experience with inventory control systems and procedures. * Familiarity with banquet operations and event logistics is highly desirable. * Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
