Full description of the position

Position Summary: The Automotive Sales Activity Manager is responsible for driving daily sales performance, leading the sales team in their activities, and ensuring consistent execution of the sales process. This role focuses on maximizing showroom traffic conversion, maintaining strong customer engagement, and achieving sales targets through proactive leadership and process improvement. Duries and Responsibilities: Daily Sales Operations: * Monitor and manage all daily sales activities, including prospecting, follow-ups, appointments, and vehicle deliveries. * Ensure all customer leads are effectively worked and properly documented in the CRM system. * Complete all financing deals in coordination with the finance department; step in to finalize financing in the absence of the Finance Manager. * Authorized to negotiate and close deals in the absence of the General Manager, maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction. Team Leadership & Coaching: * Motivate, support, and mentor the sales team to consistently meet and exceed individual and team performance targets. * Provide in-the-moment coaching and sales floor leadership to assist in closing opportunities. * Conduct daily team huddles, weekly one-on-one coaching sessions, and regular performance evaluations to drive accountability and development. Process Management: * Enforce and continuously improve the dealership's sales process to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance with policies. * Ensure timely and effective follow-up on all customer inquiries, including internet, phone, and walk-in traffic. Reporting & KPIs: * Track and analyze key performance metrics, including lead response times, appointment set and show rates, sales conversion ratios, and individual/team sales targets. * Identify gaps or areas of opportunity within the sales funnel and implement action plans for improvement. Customer Experience: * Oversee and ensure a seamless, high-quality customer journey from initial contact through to final delivery. * Resolve escalated customer concerns or complaints with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach. * Drive high customer satisfaction and retention by consistently delivering excellent service and follow-up.
