A-L-L Equipment, one of the Midwest's largest pump and air compressor distributors, has an immediate opening for a Pump Sales Engineer for the Midwest Mississippi basin area. This position is responsible for driving new and existing pump sales as well as related services. The territory covered by this position includes Western Illinois and Eastern Iowa. The Outside Pump Sales Engineer position responsibilities include: * Generating sales for new pump customers and grow existing Pump Customers. * Developing and maintaining prospects and opportunities to achieve defined sales goals. * Creatively providing solutions to the customer by aligning A-L-L Equipment's products with customer and business needs. * Addressing any customer concerns or disputes that arise due to parts or service sales. * Conduct sales, develop strong customer relationships, identify product applications, and introduce new products and services. * Preparing quotations and proposals, follow up, negotiate terms, and close transactions. * Must adhere to all safety rules (vehicle safety, customer site safety) in the field, as well as all company and customer locations. * Maintaining a pipeline of face-to-face customer interactions in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Record key contract milestones, customer interactions, and reporting requirements defined by the Sales Manager. Provide feedback on market conditions. The successful candidate will possess: Type A driven personality is a must. Customer focus - ability to articulate and define value for the customer. Excellent selling, solution recommendation and customer-facing skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential to navigating between the operations and senior level decision makers; discerning between the user and the buyer of the services. Teamwork in collaboration with other members of sales and services team; desire to win as an individual and as a team. Strong analytical and reasoning skills. Self-motivated, highly innovative, strong initiative, and self-directed. Detail Oriented Proficiency in MS-Office Software (Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint) CRM system navigation and utilization proficient.
