Join Ecolab's industry leading Textile Care team as a Commercial Laundry - Territory Manager in thePortland market.** You will make a positive impact on our commercial laundry customers as you provide expert consultation and solutions that improve linen quality, boost operating efficiencies and enhance sustainability. As a Territory Manager, you will serve as the face of Ecolab for your customers, ranging from independent laundry operations to corporate accounts, including commercial uniform, retail, food & beverage, and hospitality/tourism industries. Key Responsibilities * Develop strategic work plans for completing sales and service/consultation calls with new and existing customers * Partner with plant managers and other key personnel to understand their operations and laundry challenges * Prepare and deliver sales presentations on Ecolab's innovative laundry products and chemicals, processes & programs to increase your customers operating efficiencies * Cultivate long-term relationships that will lead to increased sales * Provide extensive hands-on product and solution training * Leverage your technical aptitude as you troubleshoot laundry machines and dispensing systems What 's in it For You: * Enjoy a paid training program allowing you to learn from successful professionals * Receive a company vehicle for business and personal use * Carve out a long term, advanced career path in sales/service, corporate accounts, or management * Flexible, independent work environment where you will plan your own schedule * Access to best-in-class resources, tools, and technology * Grow your income as you drive sales Position Requirements * Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs * Ability to travel regularly, with 10-20% overnight travel required Basic Qualifications * 2+ years' relevant work or military experience * 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role * 1+ year of applied mechanical problem-solving experience (i.e., plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or mechanical trouble shooting experience) * Valid driver's license & acceptable MVR * No immigration sponsorship available for this Preferred Qualifications: * Vocational/Technical or bachelor's degree * Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships, influence customers and build trust * Previous chemical sales experience, commercial laundry industry/operations, or plant management experience Annual or Hourly Compensation Range The total Compensation range for this position is $82,000-$123,000 which includes base pay and target incentive based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
