TITLE: Employee Benefits Account Management Executive REPORTS TO: The Account Executive plays a key advisory role, focusing on managing and nurturing client relationships. This position emphasizes retention, client satisfaction, and account growth. The Account Executive will work closely with clients to understand their insurance needs, provide expert advice on coverage options, and ensure they have the protection needed to meet their objectives. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of insurance products, and the ability to build long-term, trust-based relationships with clients. The Account Executive will also work collaboratively with Account Managers, Production staff, and the Department Manager. Key Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management: * Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, providing personalized service and advice. * Maintain regular contact with clients to review coverage needs, update policies, and discuss any changes in circumstances. * Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention by promptly addressing questions, resolving issues, and providing proactive service. Policy Review and Recommendations: * Conduct comprehensive annual reviews of client accounts to confirm that policies remain aligned with clients' needs. * Advise clients on potential coverage gaps, endorsements, or additional options that may enhance their insurance portfolio. * Provide insights on market trends, policy changes, and new products that may impact clients. Retention and Account Development: * Focus on client retention by developing strong relationships and understanding each client's unique needs and priorities. * Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional products to existing clients where appropriate, adding value to the client experience. * Collaborate with team members to develop customized service plans for high-priority accounts. Documentation and Compliance: * Ensure accurate and complete documentation of client interactions, policy changes, and account activities in the agency management system. * Comply with all agency policies, insurance regulations, and guidelines in handling client accounts. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field (preferred) or equivalent industry experience. * Current insurance license(s) as required by state regulations. * 3+ years of experience in an account management or advisory role within the insurance industry. * Strong understanding of various insurance products, policy coverage options, and industry regulations. * Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
