Full description of the position

Role: Inside Sales Manager Position Overview: The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for working with Residential Solar Analysts to support and grow new business. The Inside Sales Manager will be responsible for improving solar analysts' performance in key metrics including, but not limited to, trackable contact with customers, closing ratios, and resolving issues with signed customer projects. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Pre-Sales Support: - Promotes a positive company image by exercising sound and ethical business practices as related to the employees, customers, vendors and the general public. - Answers and directs incoming phone calls and texts from customers to assigned solar analysts - Review pipelines with solar analysts on a weekly basis to ensure each customer receives active follow-up - Ensure communication between solar analysts and customers is documented in Salesforce. - Collaborate with solar analysts to forecast opportunities and tentative close dates - Develop monthly outreach campaigns with assigned solar analysts to close new business with customers. - Solicit feedback from customers about the quality of initial solar appointments and interactions with solar analyst. - Provide front-line support to solar analysts by providing answers to technical and finance-related questions. Post-Sales Support: - Ensure project documentation is uploaded to Salesforce (contract, electric bill, layout, proposal, and shade report) - Ensure financed projects are approved for credit through our preferred financing vendors - Collaborate with solar analysts and project managers to develop solutions for projects with issues found after the engineering site audit - Develop and process work orders and change orders for customers with the goal of clarifying scope of work and responsibilities between Earthlight and customers - Initiate contact with homeowners to relate project issues and proposed solutions - Create and process new contracts and change orders for customers requiring additional work - Answer basic questions from customers about financial products and state/utility incentives - Generate accurate usage and production simulations using array layouts, shade reports, and Suneyes General Responsibilities: - Assist the Director of Sales Operations to ensure that customer data is accurate in Salesforce - Track daily outreach to customers and solar analysts using Salesforce - Conduct outreach to customers via phone, email, and text to communicate needed changes to contracts and other agreements - Cooperate fully with other key personnel in conducting business in an effective and efficient manner - Maintains cooperative and cordial working relationship with all company employees - Perform other duties deemed necessary by management - Recognize and perform tasks that need to be completed, although not directly assigned & assist others as needed Required Qualifications: - High School diploma, some college level education preferred. - A minimum of 2 years experience in an administrative role. - Ability to communicate with customers and team members in a professional and friendly manner - Ability to conduct conversations with customers to resolve issues - Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel - Attention to detail - Ability to manage multiple priorities - Experience with CRM systems Physical Demands: - Regularly required sitting for prolonged periods of time. Must have a full range of body movements including the use of hands to fingers to handle or feel objects, computer equipment and peripherals. - Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus, shifting from computer screens to close forms and back routinely. Must hear and speak well enough to conduct business over the telephone. - Must be able to read and write English well enough to read and prepare reports, communicate effectively with all concerned or related to the business.
