Their showrooms feature premium quality brands with the largest selection of beautiful, stylish carpet, plus brand-name hardwood flooring, laminate, vinyl, and tile - all at great low prices. _Flooring America Quad Cities believes in a family friendly work environment, and understands their Sales Consultants are an integral part of their success._ To learn more about Flooring America Quad Cities in Iowa & Illinois check out: [please apply online] What We Offer: *Hourly + Commission & Bonuses * * Earning potential of 100K+ annually * Full Time: 40 hrs./5-day work week (Monday to Saturday - must work retail hours) * 90 day paid training & mentorship program * Flexible Scheduling * Medical & Dental Insurance * Life Insurance * Retirement Plan * Paid Time Off * Employee discounts on products & services * Seasonal team building activities & outings * Team community outreach * Weekly sales meetings & periodical product knowledge training Responsibilities: * Provide outstanding service to determine customer's overall flooring & design needs * Build client relationships and conduct follow up on all jobs * Schedule appointments for showroom, home, or workplace consultations to meet with clients * Keep up to date on the wide selection of products & services provided * Gather space/area measurements & calculate number of materials * Create & present project proposals to clients for approval * Communicate with vendors to determine product specifications, availability, and sampling needs * Mange time between showroom and prospecting for new business * Maintain showroom by keeping samples, displays and common areas neat, current, and clean Desired Skills & Qualifications: * Minimum of 1-3 years ' proven work experience in Retail Sales, Customer Service, Interior Design, Outside Sales, or similar role * Must have a valid driver 's license & reliable transportation * Must pass a background check & drug test * A positive attitude & desire to exceed expectations * Basic computer/social media knowledge and math skills * Utilize various forms of communication to follow up with vendors/suppliers & clients * Ability to work independently under minimal supervision, yet within a team setting * Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability * Strong personal and professional judgment * Ability to adapt and respond quickly to customers' needs and wants * Strong organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority * Ability to achieve sales goals effectively * Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills * Advanced time management skills & detailed oriented * Ability to read floor plan drawings & create project estimates a plus (Willing to train) * Knowledge of flooring & design industry a plus (Willing to train) * Knowledge of RFMS & Mobile Measure a plus (Willing to train) How To Apply: * Use the response option in this job board * Attach an up-to-date resume outlining your experience for the position * A cover letter is always appreciated! * No emails or phone calls to the showroom * Do not personally deliver resumes to the showroom Qualified candidates will be contacted by e-mail for a phone interview Flooring America Quad Cities is an Equal Opportunity Employer
