Sales/Desk Manager - Mazda of Port Charlotte Port Charlotte, FL Full-Time | Competitive Salary + Commission | Benefits Available About Us: Mazda of Port Charlotte is a leading dealership in Southwest Florida, known for our exceptional customer service, top-tier vehicle selection, and a strong, supportive team culture. As we continue to grow, we're looking to ad a driven and experienced Sales/Desk Manager to join our leadership team and help us take our sales department to the next level. Position Overview: The Sales/Desk Manager is responsible for managing the sales team, structuring deals, and ensuring that every customer receives an outstanding buying experience. This leader will play a critical role in coaching and developing the team, maximizing profitability, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: * Lead, motivate, and mentor the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets. * Work directly with customers and sales consultants to structure deals that close sales effectively. * Appraise trades and assist in finance processes when necessary. * Manage daily sales activities, track performance, and implement strategies to improve results. * Foster a professional and welcoming environment for customers and staff. * Ensure compliance with all dealership policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. * Collaborate with other departments (Finance, Service, etc.) to ensure a seamless customer experience. * Monitor inventory and work closely with the GSM on vehicle ordering and stocking. Qualifications: Proven success in an automotive sales management or desk management role (minimum 2 years preferred). * Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills. * Deep understanding of automotive sales processes, financing, and inventory management. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment. * Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. * Proficiency with CRM and dealership management software (knowledge of VIN Solutions is a plus). * Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
