Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. This role is essential in creating a welcoming shopping environment and ensuring that customers have a positive experience. Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. * Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems. * Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product information to effectively assist customers. * Stock shelves and ensure that products are organized and displayed attractively. * Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering recommendations. * Supervise junior staff members as needed to ensure smooth operations during shifts. * Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management. * Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the store environment. Skills * Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone. * Experience with retail sales, particularly in a grocery store setting is preferred. * Proficient in operating cash registers and POS systems. * Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. * Ability to supervise team members effectively when required. * Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management. * Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve our diverse customer base.
