Posted Position: We are seeking a highly skilled PLC Programmer / Controls Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining PLC-based control systems to ensure efficient operation of industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience with automation, electrical troubleshooting, and industrial control systems. Requirements: * Experience creating machine controls using Rockwell Studio 5000/Factorytalk view ME * Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings * Troubleshooting skills utilizing electrical test equipment, meters, and programming software * Understanding of Ethernet and Devicenet Networks Responsibilities: * Develop, program, test, and troubleshoot PLC-based control systems for industrial automation. * Read and interpret electrical schematics, P &IDs, and technical manuals to ensure proper system functionality. * Modify and optimize existing PLC programs to improve efficiency and reliability. * Conduct preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on control systems and industrial automation equipment. * Assist in commissioning, start-up, and support of new equipment installations. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company standards, and industry best practices. * Document changes, updates, and issues in technical reports and system documentation. * Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement process improvements and upgrades. Qualifications: * Previous experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting. * Proficiency in PLC Platforms * Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, sensors, VFDs, and servo systems. * Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repairing industrial automation equipment.
