The Sales Manager is a key member of our Executive Team responsible for developing and implementing solutions for our clients. You will be responsible for managing our Sales and Account Management team. As a leader in our region, Universal ComOne provides technology solutions that include hosted or on-premise PBX phone systems, Internet Access plans, SIP Trunks, Managed IT Support, remote and on-site tech support, Cable Infrastructure, Access Control and CCTV surveillance systems with a focus on excellent customer service helping generate a high level of customer retention. We're a true single-source solution provider who can help any size business consolidate the number of vendors they deal with to help reduce costs and streamline troubleshooting when needed, eliminating the frustration of finger-pointing between vendors. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the following: * Developing a team of direct salespeople finding new business. * Creating Sales Strategy for the team to deploy. * Managing account management team. * Measuring success of the team with KPIs. * Interacting directly with existing customers and prospective new customers. * Communicating with clients to ensure that all their needs are understood and addressed. * Support and drive company initiatives relative to sales and support of our customer base * Building strong client relationships to maintain current business, cross-sell new products and services, and acquire new customers The ideal candidate must have the following skills: * Proven track record of successful outside sales. * 5 years of direct B2B sales experience. * 3 years of managing a sales team. * Experience building successful sales strategies. * Excellent people skills. * Strong ability to communicate effectively, particularly over the phone. * Good planning, organizational, and time management skills. * Ability to assess situations and present solutions based on the requisite opportunity. * Effective verbal and written communications skills in a professional environment. * College experience preferred.
