Full description of the position
Transitowne Automotive Group seeks a qualified, talented, and enthusiastic manager to run the sales department of our busy Transit Road Kia Franchise in West Seneca. Sales Manager Responsibilities * Weekly, on-going training of staff in rapport building techniques, steps to the sales processes, CRM processes, follow-ups on unsold, sold, and service guests, phone skill training and instruction, enhancing subordinates sales skills. * Qualify buyers by understanding buyer's requirements and interests; matching requirements and interests to various models; continuously building rapport. * Forecast and manage appropriate new/used inventory levels. * Meet weekly with the dealership's general manager to review forecasts and profits for department. * Audit all appraisals of trade-in vehicles * Future goals/sales forecasting for new car sales department * Maintain annual operating budget for new car department. * Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect new vehicle sales. * Hire, train, motivate, counsel and monitor the performance of all new vehicle sales department employees. * Guide sales staff in setting their objectives on a short and long range basis. * Conduct sales training meetings as directed by the general manager or dealer. * Develop and implement programs that will increase the new vehicle gross and increase F&I penetration. * Monitor the use of desking, CRM and other tools provided by the company. * Responsible for staff scheduling, payroll, and inventory control. Requirements * Automotive Sales required (2 years) * Strong negotiation skills * Ability to ask for the sale and handle customer requests * Establish and maintain relationships with customers * Assess individual client needs and think of innovative ways to get results * Recover quickly from setbacks * Experience in managing and organizing work time and work related activities * Excellent interpersonal skills * A positive attitude and strong willingness to learn Join an automotive group with almost 50 years of history in Western New York.
