WEC ELECTRICAL SUPPLY is the the largest certified MBE electrical distributor in New York and is looking for a qualified account manager and inside sales person. Position Overview: The Electrical Inside Sales Representative is responsible for supporting the sales team by generating leads, managing customer inquiries, and driving sales growth. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively communicate with customers, understand their needs, and offer tailored solutions. Key Responsibilities: * Lead Generation and Qualification: * Identify and reach out to potential customers via phone, email, and social media. * Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and assess their potential. * Customer Engagement: * Respond to inbound inquiries and provide information about products/services. * Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers. * Schedule and conduct follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction. * Sales Support: * Assist the sales team in preparing proposals, quotes, and contracts. * Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in CRM systems. * Product Knowledge: * Develop a thorough understanding of the company's products/services. * Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities. Qualifications: * Experience in the electrical or industrial sector. * 3-4 years of experience in electrical sales, preferably as an inside sales or counter sales * Basisc understanding of electrical systems, products and industry standards Preferred Skills: * Familiarity with sales automation tools and techniques. * Basic understanding of electrical products and solutions.
