About Us Varflex Corporation, is a 100-year-old family-owned sleeving manufacturer seeking a highly motivated and results-driven sales-focused Manager to propel growth, foster customer relationships, and oversee sales operations. Job Summary We are seeking a seasoned dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager with a strong sales background and manufacturing operational expertise to manage our sales team, develop strategic initiatives, oversee and enhance production goals, and ensure exceptional customer-supplier relationships. Responsibilities * Oversee day-to-day sales operations * Lead, manage and motivate the sales team to meet or exceed performance goals * Develop and maintain long-term customer and supplier relationships to drive growth and satisfaction * Create and execute sales plans aligned with company goals, including market analysis, target identification and sales forecasting. * Ensuring business development and sales strategies are successfully implemented by the sales team * Collaborate with sales, IT and marketing staff by providing customer insights and feedback on lead quality and effective marketing materials * Foster a customer-centric culture across the organization * Track and review performance of the sales team * Develop, train and mentor internal and external sales representatives * Occasional national travel for tradeshows and conferences Other Duties * Miscellaneous as requested Skills * Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse sales team. * Strong experience in outside sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. * Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms for both the company and clients. * Proficient in ERP and CRM software, basic computer functions as well as Microsoft Office. * Exceptional customer service skills, ensuring client needs are met promptly and efficiently. * Strong analytical skills to assess market conditions and adjust strategies accordingly. * Strong communication, collaboration, leadership and mentorship skills * Ability to match customer requirements with company manufacturing capabilities Education and Experience * Bachelor's Degree * 10+ years of leading sellers, and combined leadership in sales and manufacturing * Ability to read and write English * Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Physical Demands * Ability to sit frequently * Ability to stand and walk occasionally * Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time occasionally * Ability to push, pull, lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally * Ability to reach above shoulder level, in front of and below waist level occasionally * Ability to hold, use fingers, handle, and grasp with both hands frequently * Ability to bend over and down, twist, stoop, squat, crouch, and kneel occasionally * Ability to hear and see * Ability to type frequently Join us as we continue to expand our market presence.
