Full description of the position

Ideal candidates will be based in the Greater Dallas-Fort Worth area, with a strong preference for those who can report to our regional office in Irving when not traveling. However, we are open to considering candidates located in other Central Region cities such as St. Louis, Kansas City, and Chicago. Job Summary: The Central Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing sales operations within the central region, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. This role involves developing strategic sales plans, managing a high-performing sales team, and fostering strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to support business expansion. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve regional revenue goals and market share growth. * Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives to maximize performance and productivity. * Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with key customers and industry partners. * Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to adjust strategies and improve performance. * Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to align sales strategies with business objectives. * Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to senior leadership. * Ensure effective territory management and optimize sales coverage within the central region. * Drive customer satisfaction through strong account management and solution-based selling approaches. * Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field; MBA is a plus. * Experience: 5+ years of proven sales experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role. * Skills: * Strong leadership and team management abilities. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. * Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. * Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Key Competencies: * Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. * Strong business acumen and customer-centric mindset. * Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. * Adaptability to changing market conditions and business priorities.
