The Optical Sales Associate assists patients with their optical needs while ensuring the highest level of customer service and customer satisfaction. Primary Responsibilities * Creating a one of a kind optical purchasing experience through knowledge, enthusiasm, and compassion * Maintaining a clean and stocked optical * Creating and submitting orders including filing to insurances * Adjustments and refining spectacles Other Skills and Abilities * The use of kindness, empathy and patience when dealing with our patients * Attention to detail * Ability to multi-task * Ability to work as a team member * Cooperates and effectively communicates with all staff members and physicians about patient matters Customer Service * Excellent customer service skills are essential * Effectively work with others with courtesy, tact, friendliness, enthusiasm, compassion, and a caring and helpful nature Attendance Standards * Punctuality, attendance, scheduling of absences Flexibility * Adjustment to change, resetting of priorities, time management skills, resourcefulness, initiative Ethical Responsibilities * Follows code of conduct / ethics of our profession and our practice *Pay is based on experience. Salary + sales commission.
