Job Overview We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen spaces that meet the needs of our clients. You will work closely with customers to understand their vision and preferences, providing expert guidance throughout the design process. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, an eye for design, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients. This position will also include contractor sales and commercial project estimating. Responsibilities * Collaborate with clients to understand their kitchen design needs and preferences. * Create detailed kitchen layouts and designs using CAD software or other design tools. * Present design concepts to clients, incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments. * Assist clients in selecting materials, finishes, appliances, and fixtures that align with their vision. * Manage the sales process from initial consultation through project completion. * Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients while ensuring customer satisfaction. * Maintain organized project documentation and schedules to ensure timely delivery of designs. * Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and technologies related to kitchen design. * Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire design process. Qualifications * Proven experience in kitchen design or a related field is preferred. * Strong sales skills with a track record of successfully closing deals. * Proficiency in 2020 Design or ProKitchen is highly desirable. * Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients. * Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele. * Experience with POS systems and cash register operations is beneficial. * Ability to build rapport with clients and understand their unique needs.
