C & B Material Handling, LLC (part of the C & B Equipment family), a leader and supplier of choice in material handling equipment, automation solutions, and industrial equipment rental, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join the Engineered Solutions department within C & B Material Handling, LLC. The Sales Engineer will play a crucial role in driving sales and providing high level technical expertise to our clients and prospects. In addition to direct sales responsibilities, the Sales Engineer will be responsible for training, developing and supporting other entry level sales and support personnel. This position covers the Louisiana and Alabama regions, with a preference for the Sales Engineer to reside in one of these states. Essential Duties: * Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. * Formulate and present solutions to key decision-makers, defending the offering with proven performance and economic benefits. * Collaborate with the estimating and engineering teams to provide cost-effective, best-in-class solutions. * Train and mentor sales and support personnel to grow branch and regional market share. * Achieve individual and regional sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company. Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering or a business-related field. * 10 years of overall sales experience, with at least 5 years in a related industry. * Strong technical understanding of industrial and warehouse solutions, including automation, robotics, and high-density storage. * Familiarity with business financials and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). * Excellent prospecting and strategic account management skills. * Effective communication and presentation abilities. * Demonstrated problem-solving skills. * Familiarity with project management fundamentals to support project fulfillment goals. * Competitive and self-motivated, with a drive to achieve objectives. * Experience in training and developing salespeople (preferred). * Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required to meet corporate objectives.
