Full description of the position

Who We Are:

Symetria Recovery is the #1 outpatient rehab in Illinois and Texas. It started with three simple, yet game-changing core beliefs: Addiction is a disease; co-occurring mental health conditions should be addressed; and patients deserve respect, not judgement. Symetria Recovery provides comprehensive substance abuse treatment with a focus on Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) in a welcoming outpatient setting. Unlimited clinical services are available to our patients under our bundled-service delivery model. Key services delivered through our Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) licensure include MAT, medically monitored psychiatric care, individual therapy, group therapy (IOP), 6-day-per-week nursing care, and ongoing aftercare. Many of our patients being provided medication receive Buprenorphine, Methadone, injectables (Vivitrol, Sublocade), and any other FDA-approved medication for addiction. We serve primarily a commercially insured and Medicare patient population.

What is the role:

The SVP will craft, communicate, and execute a comprehensive sales, marketing, advertising, and brand strategy plan to grow Symetria. You will join the executive team reporting to the CEO and manage both the Digital Marketing and Community Outreach teams, with two VP/Director level leaders and their teams to support you. You will collaborate with functional leaders to capture the Symetria story and use your experience and judgement to leverage all effective sales and marketing channels to attract patients needing support for substance use disorder (primarily opioid and alcohol).

Across both sales and marketing, you will build a cohesive, single vision for the teams which leverages both internal and external talent and tools to develop a strong and predictable patient attraction funnel.

You will bring your creativity to explore new channels to attract patients needing our services. You can be scrappy in testing new opportunities and also aggressive when there is a big opportunity in front of you. Along with all of that, you will be responsible for building and managing your departments structure and staff and optimally align it for Symetria as we scale to open new locations.

Experience & Skills You'll Need:

  • Minimum ten (10) years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare services marketing, multi-site healthcare preferred, addiction treatment services highly preferred
  • Experience working in medication assisted treatment (MAT) and specifically OTP setting is preferred though not required
  • Experience managing a distributed sales team (directly or indirectly)
  • Scaled marketing function in a growing business across critical systems, processes, and human capital
  • Proven track record of developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience with successfully managing budgets
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems, Google AdWords, telephone and number management systems, and Microsoft suite for reporting
  • Ability to thrive and lead in a metric driven environment
  • Travel expected less than 15%
