Full description of the position

RP tech Services (a Managed Service provider with multiple locations) is currently looking for a hands-on, technically proficient, and experienced IT sales professional.

What you will be doing

The successful candidate generates IT (information technology) sales and business, develops relationships with new and existing clients, makes sales visits and presentations, maintains advanced knowledge of products and services, and establishes and meets sales goals.

  • Manage Business Accounts to ensure that clients are receiving the services they are paying for and understand our value proposition.
  • Generation business and sales analytics Reporting
  • Develops and expands a portfolio of corporate clients by networking and marketing
  • Follows up on leads, providing presales IT support and guidance as needed
  • Utilizes email marketing, sales automation tools to nurture lead generation
  • Assesses client IT needs and makes recommendations, including IT equipment and service packages
  • Prepares sales visits and presentations to pitch product, service, and combination packages to clients
  • Demonstrates IT equipment to highlight product benefits
  • Negotiates sales, package discounts, and long-term contracts with clients
  • Provides technical advice after sales
  • Becomes fluent in all products and services offered through testing, demonstrations, and research
  • Answers questions, describes benefits, and discusses pros and cons of various competing products or services
  • Gains familiarity with the IT industry, and stays updated on trends and innovative products
  • Creates marketing literature and web-based features to promote products and time-sensitive sales
  • Attends trade exhibitions and industry events to learn about cutting-edge products and sales
  • Works for technology manufacturers, software manufacturers, IT consultancies, and technology solutions organisations

What you will need to have, know, and/or learn very quickly:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Marketing,
  • Experience with CRM, Sales and Marketing Automation
  • Knowledge of Relevant IT Products and IT Sales software
  • Written and Verbal Communication, Interpersonal Communication, Negotiation, Critical Thinking
  • Ability to Meet Goals
  • High Energy Level
  • Attention to Detail.
  • Knowledge of Business Analytics/Visualization software.

*This position requires some travel and thus requires that you have a viable means of transportation in the areas in and around West Palm Beach

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
