Job Description Overview:
We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic and dedicated Sales Account Manager in Training to join our reputable roofing company. This role is ideally suited for individuals with a keen interest in building a career in sales within the construction and roofing industry. Through our comprehensive training program, you will gain in-depth knowledge about roofing products, services, sales techniques, customer relationship management, and strategic account planning. Under the mentorship of seasoned sales professionals, you'll gain hands-on experience with the aim of growing into a competent Sales Account Manager who drives success and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage fully in our roofing sales training program, attending workshops, engaging in role-play scenarios, and shadowing experienced account managers to learn the ropes.
- Assist in identifying and pursuing potential sales leads by conducting market research and utilizing networking skills.
- Support the preparation of proposals, presentations, and contracts tailored to client needs and project specifications.
- Acquire proficiency in sales techniques that complement our company ethos and contribute to achieving sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong, lasting client relationships to foster customer loyalty and facilitate new sales through referrals and positive feedback.
- Collaborate closely with the project and customer service teams to ensure proposals and projects align with client expectations and company standards.
- Address and resolve client concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to team meetings with insights on customer preferences, market trends, and innovative sales strategies.
Enhanced Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Sales/Marketing Programs: Take an active role in the creation, development, and implementation of targeted sales and marketing programs aimed at expanding our customer base in the roofing industry. This involves participating in brainstorming sessions, market research for identifying potential clients, and strategizing on outreach methods.
- Program Management: Oversee and manage sales and marketing programs from inception through completion. This includes setting clear objectives, defining timelines, allocating resources, and monitoring progress to ensure programs are delivered on time and achieve desired outcomes.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with the marketing, sales, and project management teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach. This involves coordinating efforts across departments to maximize the impact of each sales/marketing program.
- Analysis and Reporting: Analyze the effectiveness of sales and marketing programs in achieving their goals. Provide detailed reports on performance metrics, insights gained, and recommendations for future programs. This critical evaluation will contribute to the continuous improvement of our sales strategies and marketing efforts.
- Client Engagement and Feedback: Engage with clients throughout the lifecycle of sales and marketing programs to gather feedback, assess satisfaction, and adapt strategies to better meet client needs. This direct interaction will foster stronger relationships and support the development of client-centric programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.
- A genuine interest in pursuing a sales career within the roofing or construction industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport.
- Eagerness to learn about roofing products, industry standards, and effective sales methodologies.
- Team player with a strong work ethic, capable of performing under pressure and managing time efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of sales principles, customer service practices, and the construction industry is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects or programs, with a keen understanding of the principles of project management.
