Senior Sales Associate - Naperville
THE ROLE:
The Sales Associate will be a critical member of our team and play an important role on the business development team. This role will report directly to the President and will be critical to help drive growth of our adult daycare and homecare businesses. The role will be responsible for increasing referrals and admissions of new clients by identifying, developing, and nurturing relationships with referral sources, such as senior housing locations, healthcare professionals, facilities, and other organizations. It will also require working directly with prospective clients and their family members to help them learn more about our services and converting them into admissions.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential referral sources, including:
- Senior housing facilities
- Healthcare professionals, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, etc.
- Case managers from Community Care Units and MCOs
- Local municipal resources, senior care organizations and other relevant groups
- Educate potential referral sources and prospective clients (and their families) about the benefits of MedTecs services
- Develop a pipeline of prospective clients, and work closely with them to convert them into admissions
- Develop sales materials and other collateral to help increase awareness of MedTecs services
- Conduct presentations to seniors and referral sources, attend senior expos and conduct other marketing activities to help grow our client pipeline
Qualifications:
- High school diploma; Bachelors degree in marketing, business management or communications, preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience in generating new business preferably in the senior care or healthcare industries
- Proven track record of generating leads and monitoring referrals, managing a sales territory, maintaining and building relationships with new and existing contacts
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for helping seniors
- Willingness to drive extensively within the Chicagoland area to meet with prospective clients and referral sources
- Solid community and professional contacts within the geographic market
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in a second language preferred
- An active book of business within the Chicagoland is a differentiator
