Full description of the position

Title: Sales Assistant

Great Expectations / Arboreal Management is excited to hire a Sales Assistant to help us drive leasing and occupancy in the competitive Seattle apartment market. We call this sales, other companies call it leasing.

We are a fast growing and entrepreneurial real estate company focused on affordable housing. We own and/or operate about 25 properties in Seattle. We have a young team, have a lot of fun, and are growing fast.

You are an early career professional, well organized, and an extrovert. You are excited to learn about real estate and sales and affordable housing. You want to be part of a team and get an entry level job with unlimited potential.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Monitor incoming leads and phone calls -- make sure no lead goes unfollowed!

* Schedule tours for our sales associates -- get folks into the right buildings!

* Manage the touring schedule -- keep us organized!

* Monitor social media -- we have a lot of fun on there!

* Conduct tours when needed, close leases when you can -- earn comissions!

* Other tasks as needed -- we will keep you busy!

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

No prior experience is required for this role, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start their career in real estate and sales. However, the following would be advantageous:

* A strong interest in real estate, sales, and affordable housing.

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

* Ability to work well in a team environment.

* Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting.

* Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and social media platforms.

COMPENSATION:

* Hourly compensation of $22-24/hour based on experience

* Additional bonus based on tours scheduled

This position is designed for those who are motivated and enthusiastic about joining the real estate industry, providing a solid foundation for career growth. After demonstrating success in this role you will have the opportunity to move into a sales role, and from there the sky is the limited

LOCATION AND SCHEDULE:

This role is based out of our office on Capitol Hill, moving to Eastlake soon. Our sales team works 7 days a week, and this role requires weekend coverage. We expect a Saturday to Weds schedule, although we can be flexible as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 40 per week
