We are currently looking for an Experienced Property Manager with HUD and TAX CREDIT Compliance experience for a large, established affordable apartment community in the Western Addition area of San Francisco.
The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and wearing multiple hats, all while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills - both verbal and written and the ability to handle a large work load.
We are looking for applicants with the following experience:
- Minimum 3 years of Affordable Housing Property Management
- Experience with Layered HUD-Tax Credit properties
- HUD - Project Based Voucher Compliance experience a MUST
- LIHTC Tax Credit Housing Compliance experience a MUST
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment
- Ability to Lead a team and Oversee all business operations of a large affordable housing property
- Excellent Organizational and Communication Skills are a MUST
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Etc.)
- A friendly, outgoing personality
- The ability to interact with a variety of personality types
- Flexibility and ability to identify problems and offer solutions
- Collaborate with Resident Services Provider to ensure residents are getting the support they need to be successful
Daily Duties Include, but are not limited to:
- Interface with Residents Communicate often and effectively with residents while always offering excellent customer service
- Enforce Lease Rules and Regulations daily
- Rent Collection & Aged Receivable collection
- Completing HUD Annual & Interim Recertification's
- Completing TCAC Annual Recertification's
- Processing Applications and Move-In Packets for Approval
- Maintaining the Waiting List per the Tenant Selection Plan
- Property Accounts Receivable and Payable
- Entering and Monitoring Work Order Requests
- Performing all aspects of Rental Office Operations management
- Communicate with Maintenance re Vacant Units, Work Orders, Emergencies, etc.
- Ensuring all Rental Office duties are completed without fail
- Completing Reports - Occupancy (weekly), Aged Receivables, Promise to Pays, Late Rent Reports (monthly), building reports (quarterly), etc.
- Adhering to Fair Housing Regulations without fail
- Follow all company policies without fail
- Leading the team, communicate with Supervisors & Corporate
Compensation includes:
- Hourly Pay Rate = Based on Candidate Experience and Property Budget $28-$30
