Full description of the position

Property Manager

Property management company seeking a full-time off-site third-party property manager.

Duties

  • Primary point of contact for tenants and owners
  • Prepare annual rent increases in accordance with state local rent control ordinances
  • Prepare Notices
  • Section 8 documentation and coordination
  • Perform and document inspections when tenants move out
  • Handle dispatch for after-hours calls on assigned weeks
  • Meet with regulatory inspectors as needed
  • Coordinate oversight of properties in your portfolio with maintenance, accounting, and leasing teams

Qualifications

  • Organized, timely and detail-oriented working style
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Computer proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • California drivers license and registered vehicle

Bonus Qualifications

  • California real estate license a plus
  • Knowledge of landlord/tenant law in rent control jurisdictions
  • Familiarity with Property Management Software, such as Yardi or AppFolio a plus
